While all dentists have at least some basic training in orthodontics, only a fully trained specialist in orthodontics has the additional two to three years of post-doctoral training in an orthodontic program accredited by the American Dental Association. So, when searching for a dentist to provide you or a family member with orthodontic care, insist that it is a specialist in orthodontics.
One of the great advantages of our group practice is that our specialist in orthodontics (Dr. Vincelette) works closely with our pediatric dentists (Dr. Filacoma and Dr. Wendell) to provide a collaborative approach when treatment is needed. This helps to ensure that our patients receive the most balanced and thorough care possible.
Our dentists from left to right are...
Dr. Elise Vincelette - Orthodontist | Dr. Jon Wendell - Pediatric Dentist | Dr. Deb Filocoma - Pediatric Dentist
A native of Vermont, Dr. Vincelette did her undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont where she majored in Biology. She then went on to Dental School at the University of Pennsylvania. Following this, she chose to specialize in Orthodontics and attended Boston University's School of Dental Medicine where she earned her Masters in Dentistry (Orthodontics).
As a specialist in Orthodontics, Dr. Vincelette brings to our group practice the ability to provide comprehensive orthodontic care to children and adults. Equally as important, is that she is well versed on the most modern orthodontic approaches, including INVISALIGN clear braces.
